About the Role:
This leader will need to set clear goals, schedules, deliverables, milestones, and prioritization of requests and requirements for all Foundry commitments. Key activities include:
- Responsible for Foundry Strategic Initiatives across PDK, FIP, andTools-Flows-Methodologies(TFM).Sets and defines timelines to enable new initiatives to meet customer requirements. Works with DTP program managers to capture and execute comprehensive requirements.
- Coordinates execution across the Intel Foundry organization to ensure new initiatives are on schedule and at high quality, adapting to new process findings and new customer requests.
- Co-leads the PDK & Technology Definition Change Control Boards to eliminate high impact changes while guiding our Design Technology Platform to meet industry expectations for a cutting-edge foundry.
- Fosters continuous improvement practices for better customeroutcomes.Drives improvements in automation and validation methodologies to simultaneously improve efficiency andquality.
- Responds quickly to customer requirements and feedback and ensures comprehensive root cause methodologies are in place across teams to learn from customer feedback.
- Promotes a healthy and rewarding work environment for theorganization.Coaches staff to develop and expand theircapabilities.Sets clear goals and vision for the organization and resources teams to reach those goals.
Experience Required:
- A combination of business acumen, organizational savvy, and technical expertise.
- Proven experience in building a high-performance team, developing leaders, and driving necessary organizational change and culture
- Able to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and influence the direction of the company.
- Demonstrated ability to set a strategic direction for a technical organization.
- Complex problem solving and decision-making skills with background in results orientation. Demonstrated knowledge of one or more root cause analysis methods.
- Excellent customer services mindset and skills
- Superb written and oral communication skills demonstrated through work experience including organizational leadership or program management.
Qualifications:- PhD or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 20+ years of industry and leadership experience including direct experience in foundry, EDA, and design enablement
- 15+ years of experience managing multi-level and cross-site global engineering organizations.
