What You’ll Do

Our interns work in various high-visibility, value driving roles. Our 10-week internship is tailored for individuals who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world financial analysis and projects. Our program not only focuses on your professional development through challenging work but also provides ample opportunities for networking and social events to ensure a comprehensive and enjoyable experience. Each intern will be assigned to a specific role and set of deliverables.

As a Cisco MBA Financial Analyst Intern you will:
  • Assist in the development of financial models and analysis for various projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct industry research and market analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze financial statements and performance metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Engage with senior leaders while preparing presentation materials and collateral for cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects and financial deep-dives as directed by the finance leadership team.
Who You'll Work With

You will be part of our top-notch global finance organization engaging with business partners across all of Cisco. You will collaborate and network with global teams and our extraordinary senior leadership.

Who are you?

  • Ability to think strategically and partner with multiple business units.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work optimally in a team environment and adapt to a constantly evolving atmosphere.
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a concentration or interest in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with anticipated graduation date in 2026.
  • 3+ years, or related corporate experience, working in a professional industry
  • Able to legally live and work in the country for which you are applying, without visa support or sponsorship
  • Available to start internship on June 2.
  • Previous finance or accounting internship experience is a plus
