Coordinating broader Family Investment Firm coverage with Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Private Banking partners
Driving the sourcing of new Investment Banking transactions, across Mergers & Acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets products
Focusing as an Investment Banking lead in joint coverage of Family Investment Firms with both senior bankers (Global Chairs and/or Vice Chairs) and junior bankers
Acting as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals
Reviewing and coordinating the analytical work of junior bankers to move marketing / execution process forward
Refining marketing / execution materials for maximum client impact
Overseeing the creation of financial projection models in a financing and/or strategic capacity
Leading client negotiations, Q&A process and broader diligence with family investment firms and their portfolio companies as part of transactions
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
Prior work experience in an Investment Banking front office role, including strong historical client interaction
Ability to comfortably liaise and communicate with clients in a professional and mature manner
Extensive self-starter, who is highly proactive and focused on both client idea generation and sourcing of Investment Banking transactions
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modeling and valuation work)
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
Adaptability, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
Experience in training junior bankers
Excellent understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large, globally integrated investment banks in today’s environment
