APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Deliver cutting edge embedded machine learning and computer vision technologies. Develop new machine learning and computer vision algorithms. Improve existing machine learning and computer vision algorithms. Implement algorithms in software and optimize the performance and quality on iOS. Implement and optimize algorithms on different generations of iOS and MacOS hardware. Develop systems and frameworks to process and analyze media content. Design experiments to measure the quality and performance of the implemented algorithm. Adjust and tune algorithms based on data-driven quality and performance trade-offs. Program and maintain software in C/C++, Objective C and Python. Design and build tests. Debug and fix software issues. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with the following skills:
- Computer vision and computer vision algorithm development;
- Machine learning and deep learning;
- Software development and debugging;
- Programming languages: C and C++; and
- Optimizing neural networks.
