The Project Management Specialist II will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion. This role involves building project teams, developing and manager Project plans (Scope, Cost, Schedule, Risk, Stakeholder Mgt. etc.), and ensuring that project objectives are met. Delivering the required scope in line with committed schedules to achieve the desired project outcomes. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and improve project management methodologies. Ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligning with our strategic goals, as well as portfolio and product management objectives.

Stakeholder Management : Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

Adaptability and Flexibility : Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

Excellent Communication Skills : Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, adept at presenting information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical skills to identify project risks and issues, with a proactive approach to propose and implement effective solutions.

Proficiency in Project Management Tools : Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello) to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project progress.

PMP Certification : Holds a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), demonstrating expertise in project management principles and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution : Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for successful project delivery. Establish and enable project standards, methodologies, and best practices in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Identify, communicate, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to report on project progress, issues, and changes.
  • Risk Management : Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project, adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and coordinate project teams, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring accountability for deliverables. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Budget Management : Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and monitored for adherence. Implement cost-control measures to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Quality Assurance : Define and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring they meet organizational and stakeholder expectations. Oversee the implementation of quality control processes throughout the project.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting : Utilize project management tools to monitor project progress, performance, and adherence to timelines. Generate and present periodic project status reports to stakeholders and project sponsors.
  • Communication Management: Develop and implement a communication plan to ensure timely and effective dissemination of project information to all stakeholders. Customize communications to accommodate the needs of diverse stakeholders and maintain engagement throughout the project.
  • Continuous Improvement : Conduct project retrospectives to evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for enhancements. Implement lessons learned to improve project outcomes.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with organizational standards and methodologies.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or other related disciplines. A master’s degree or advanced certification in Project Management is a plus.

PMP Certification : Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and practices.

Professional Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing projects from initiation to completion.

Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello) for planning, executing, and tracking project tasks.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess project risks and derive actionable solutions.


Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Self-starter who takes the initiative, and is well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated preferred
  • Understanding of multiple cultures to collaborate effectively in transnational teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
