The Project Management Specialist II will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion. This role involves building project teams, developing and manager Project plans (Scope, Cost, Schedule, Risk, Stakeholder Mgt. etc.), and ensuring that project objectives are met. Delivering the required scope in line with committed schedules to achieve the desired project outcomes. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and improve project management methodologies. Ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligning with our strategic goals, as well as portfolio and product management objectives.
Stakeholder Management : Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
Adaptability and Flexibility : Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Excellent Communication Skills : Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, adept at presenting information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical skills to identify project risks and issues, with a proactive approach to propose and implement effective solutions.
Proficiency in Project Management Tools : Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello) to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
PMP Certification : Holds a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), demonstrating expertise in project management principles and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or other related disciplines. A master’s degree or advanced certification in Project Management is a plus.
PMP Certification : Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and practices.
Professional Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello) for planning, executing, and tracking project tasks.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess project risks and derive actionable solutions.
Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
