Software Engineer III

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.

Experience coding in object-oriented programming languages Java and Python. Experience using Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools. Experience designing scalable, fault tolerant REST API web services. Experience utilizing project build tools: Maven, Concord, and Git. Experience utilizing tools for the development and deployment of CI/CD pipelines. Experience testing and troubleshooting relational database issues using JDBC and MySQL databases. Experience developing Apache airflow ETL jobs in a cloud environment. Experience with client server architecture. Experience utilizing project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Experience using big data tools including Apache Spark and Kafka messaging services. Experience using Hive for data processing. Experience with Linux based OS including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Alpine. Experience with containerization tool: Docker.
