Job SummaryPrinciple Accountabilities:
*Ensures accurate data collection.
*Conducts internal audits following regulatory, industry and internal quality guidelines including ISO.
*Conducts process audits and follow up closure of open audits.
*Helps department in the root cause analysis and corrective actions of audits findings, tracking to resolution.
*Initiates product/process improvements.
*Helps filing of audits and maintenance of records.
*Monitors and report metrics to meet business needs.
*Prepares reject reports by identifying necessary information for follow up and analyzes rejects/defects for patterns of process errors or other areas of concern.
*Provides immediate feedback to production areas concerning process deviations.
*May be required to facilitate Quality Alert meetings.
*May provide process trainingKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:
*Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
*Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
*Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
*Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
*Typically requires an understanding of basic inspection techniques.
*Demonstrates functional skills.
*Requires basic competency related to function.
*Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process.
*Has awareness of Flex techniques.
*Use of the following skills/tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring; Inspection: bare board, loaded, components, cable/harness, microscope, measuring tools; Mechanical & Electrical Tools: measuring tools; Office Skills: data entry, spreadsheet (PC), software. Typically requires data entry skills
*Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
*Ability to write simple correspondence.
*Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organizationCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:
*Internal certifications such as ESD, forklift, etc.
