Reporting to thetheis in charge of helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability
What a typical day looks like:
- Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment's etc.), confirmation of the order.
- Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group
- Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations
- Preparation of long term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast)
- Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /Non-consumed demand, planned WO’s.
- Preparing of Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.
- Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences
- Preparing management and CFT specificized reports, monitoring of KPI’s /
- Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
- Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
- Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
- Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
- May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.

- Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrates basic people and/or process management skills.
- Impacts immediate (daily or weekly) operations of the team or functional area. Enhances and provides input to functional processes. Executes functional goals at the site.
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Ability to read, investigate and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and acknowledge to question from groups of managers and customers.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and apply mathematical operations.
