What you will do
- Participating in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance programs, policies and practices for ICRM.
- Analysing complex comparative data, preparing and presenting global reports related to compliance risk management.
- Reviewing materials to ensure compliance with various regulatory and legal requirements and to ensure compliance risks are appropriately identified and addressed.
- Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, and can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Responsible for the management of significant projects may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence.
- Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships with each.
- Directs the creation of multiple projects of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
- Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
- Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
- Directs the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
- Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we will need from you
- Previous experience within similar role within financial services
- Technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resources
- Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels across a complex organisation
- Superb written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced analytical skills; with proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members
- Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Bachelor’s/Universitydegree, Master’s degree preferred
