Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience developing mobile applications foriOS and/or MacOS platforms with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Swift, Objective-C, Java
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of working knowledge of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.
  • 4+ years of working knowledge of Desktop/Mobile application architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience building iOSand/or MacOSapplications from scratch.
  • Experience in internationalization and localization, scaling products, applications, and engineering efforts to drive global growth.
  • Demonstratedwritten and verbal communication skillswith the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • Passion for learningnew technologiesand staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile development and AI.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Care deeply about building outstanding consumer-gradedesktopapplications.
  • Build consumer grade applications forMacOS.
  • Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Use Swift,AppKit, andCore Graphicsin your work while employingbestengineering practices.
  • Develop shared components used in different Copilotproducts built for Apple platforms.
  • Innovate to break through technical limitations and deliver delightful features.
  • Work with product managers, data scientists, and marketing to implement strategies that drive user growth, engagement, and retention. This includesoptimizingonboarding flows, improving product features, and delivering scalable infrastructure.
  • Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to get your work into the hands of users quickly and iteratively.
