In this role you will provide advanced cloud engineering for the top-of-the-line security products on the market. You will be focusing on a cutting-edge suite of services to ensure application and network performance. But also reliability and security for users connecting through the Akamai Zero Trust platform.

As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
• Maintaining high availability of an infrastructure.
• Integrating and continuous delivery of the platform.
• Implementing new technologies and upgrades of the infrastructure.
• Configurating management and Infrastructure orchestration.
• Solving issues with systems and cloud infrastructure.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 3+ years of related experience and a bachelors degree
• Have proficiency in Systems Administration in Linux and solid Linux Infrastructure management.
• Show excellent experience in Cloud platform.
• Have knowledge on Ansible/Chef/SaltStack/Jenkins/CI/CD.
• Have experience in monitoring and analytics tools such as Prometheus, Sensu.
• Have experience with any scripting language, e.g. Bash/Python.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Have good knowledge about Network protocols such as DNS/HTTP/TCP/IP.
