Description
As an IP Design Engineer, you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of multimedia IP design: - Will be responsible for imaging design, integration, and implementation for subsystems containing both internal and external Ips. - Responsibility includes feasibility, micro-architecture, RTL design, front-end implementation and post-silicon system bring-up.
Key Qualifications
- Experience with control centric design is helpful.
- Exposure to scripting languages and demeanor to automate tasks to improve scalability.
- Preferably experience in IP/SoC design, integration, and implementation.
- Industry exposure to and knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design methodology, especially logic synthesis, static timing analysis, logic equivalence checking, and working with physical design teams for floor-planning and timing closure.
- Experience with system design methodologies that contain multiple clock domains.
- Familiarity with common on-chip bus protocols such as AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB).
- Experience in low-power design issues, tools, and methodologies including UPF power intent specification helpful.
- Excellent collaboration skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication.
Education & Experience
Minimum of BS + 10 years relevant industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
