Job Description

In this position , the engineer will be responsible for defining the System architecture for the removable products ,this includes defining ASIC/SoC controller definition, HW/FW partitioning for optimum architecture , Performance optimisation and algorithm definition for NAND flash management etc , The removable product will cater to multiple product lines in SanDisk brands like portable SSD, SD Express cards , CompactFlash Express cards , micro SD cards and USB flash drive etc . Engineer will get exposure to work on different products and domains like PCIe Gen4/5 ,USB4 ,USB4 v2 , SD Express and CF Express etc

Qualifications
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving skills and tradeoff analyses, adapting approach as needed for each engagement
  • Possess excellent written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, build credibility and engender trust across an organization
  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science or related streams
  • Proficient in C, C++. Experience in SystemC/TLM is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Should be a Fast learner and a team player.
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems
  • At least 4 years of experience in building firmware for Solid State Drives
  • Experience with scripting automation using Python
  • Capable of developing wide system view for complex embedded systems
  • Multi-disciplinary experience, including familiarity with Firmware and ASIC design
  • Previous patent filing – advantage
  • Previous scientific publications – advantage
  • Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash – strong advantage
