What you'll do:

• Work on business-critical regulatory and compliance processes that ensure we have the right compliance levels. This may include working hand in hand to understand regulation impact, set up government reporting, and follow up on payments and audits.
• Own functional business strategies as well as local market strategies through creating correlations that allow us to understand the city/state situations by monitoring trends, competitors' moves, keeping close to local POCs and earners, and implementing and executing procedures (regulatory, fraud-related, communications) that allows us to successfully operate locally, even when we are a global company
• Identify trends and create metrics that allows us to track business trends to identify opportunities or operational weaknesses and help drive the team’s strategy and improve or innovate processes.
• This role demands strong stakeholder and project management skills, as well as the ability to both plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with minimal guidance

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 2 years of proven experience
• Data-first problem solver with excellent Excel/data management, SQL is a must. Python is a plus.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, quality assurance, or audit management. High-growth operations, tech, or startup experience is strongly preferred.
• Outstanding and clear communicator: You are a clear and concise communicator who can quickly synthesize information, highlight important points, and disseminate actionable insights.
• Self-motivated, works independently, and has strong organization and time management skills.
• You make well-thought-out assumptions that reflect business realities and generate actionable recommendations that consider the business context and restrictions of the problem.
• Demonstrate exceptional Planning & Organizing skills. You can create short-term plans and timelines for executing assigned tasks. Communicates status (including changes and other important issues) to relevant audience in an efficient format
• Comfort with ambiguity. You are unfazed by executing on projects where all the information is not always available and priorities can change as more data comes to bear.
