Sales Operations Manager for Vietnam and Thailand
Sales Operations Manager for Vietnam and Thailandis responsible for managing all aspects of the orderbook. From supporting and enabling the sales organization to generate order intake, to ensuring that the orderbook is executable into sales within a defined period.
This role will directly report to the Sales Operations & Excellence Leader APAC.
You are responsible for:
- Leading sales operations, which includes quoting, tender responses, and contract management functions.
- Drives adoption of new ways of working, policies and procedures
- Develops a cross functional team, upskilling individuals with relevant business knowledge where applicable, to ensure we can support high performing businesses and deliver customer facing documents that stand-out and contribute to winning in a competitive environment.
- Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates.
- Consistently reviews sales operations objectives and performance against those objectives to determine success of the department.
- Involved in developing, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
- Drives continuous improvement of all processes related to sales, with a particular focus on simplifying the way we work, ensuring customer focus.
- Oversees creation of proposals representative of solution complexity, including scope of works, drawings, and other key elements of the customer proposal
- Oversees the orderbook including third parties, ensuring it can be executed into sales in a defined timeline.
- Oversees critical inputs into our factory demand plan and supply chain.
- Manages all aspects of partner operations
- Managing teams in Vietnam and Thailand
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- 15 – 20 years’ experience in Sales Operations Management, Partner Management, Channel Partner Operations Management and/or Customer Service
- Experience in Medical Devices purchasing process preferred but candidates from multinational companies are welcome to apply
- Strong leadership qualities and attention to detail
- Detailed knowledge of Sales Operations processes and tools such Salesforce, IB (Installed Base) Management and SAP and can drive sales operations support
- Engaging personality and negotiation skills are required and is passionate in growing our business as well as our people
- Strong background in training and coaching team members
- Strong Analytical skills in identifying risks and opportunities.
- Strong Internal and External Stakeholder management
- Good understanding of legal, quality and IT
- Ability to consistently apply Philips Behavior and Competences
