Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and implementing effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
- Examining and identifying database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
- Assessing database implementation procedures to ensure they follow internal and external regulations.
- Installing and organizing information systems to guarantee company functionality.
- Preparing accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
- Overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitoring the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Recommending solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Educating staff members through training and individual support.
- Offering support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's in data architecture, information management, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Five or more years working with Snowflake, Oracle, and database tools
- One or more years in data analytics for supply chain/operations
- Two or more years hands on experience in Data Strategies and data architecture ie.(Designing relational databases and physical data models)
- Review data architectures for improvement strategies
- Analyze complex data from diverse sources
- Familiar with industry standard for Supply Chain operations metrics
- Five or more years of demonstrated ability designing insights with tools like Power BI, SPARK, Kafka and languages like Java, Scala, Python
