What you'll do...

As a Senior  Software Engineer, you’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You’ll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done.

- Designing, developing, and testing robust, scalable APIs using REST or GraphQL.
- Building and maintaining efficient and reliable code, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Working with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. - Implementing security and data protection measures.
- Identifying and resolving performance and scalability issues.
- Participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
- Coordinating with different teams for cross-functional requirements.

Develop, prototype, build technology driven software products that will serve the current and future needs of Walmart connect AdTech platform using the latest technologies like spark with Scala, Spark streaming etc.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead and participate in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs; interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan; and providing leadership to the project team.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in API development.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, Druid, MySQL).
- Familiarity with Spark, Scala and/or Spark Streaming technologies.
- Understanding of distributed systems and big data platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
