As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the full cycle of automated testing: writing a plan, creating and executing tests, debugging complex SaaS systems, and becoming an expert in your domain.
In the last 2 years, we reworked our automation infrastructure to the best in breed, with Playwright, and TypeScript at our core and CI/CD processes alongside other OSS industry standard solutions in our tech-stack
What you’ll do:
- Design and implement automation end-to-end test scenarios, which will be used to test the UI and API systems. This also requires understanding the overall system architecture to represent the user journey
- Collaborate closely with other automation teams, Dev, PMO, PM.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate, and resolve them.
- Participate in the release procedure before production and that our CI/CD are always green
What will you need to have?
- 4 years of experience in Automation development in medium to large automation teams
- Relevant degree in CS/software or equivalent
- Proven strong background in Testing and automation(API+UI) methodologies and tools such as CI/CD, large automation suites, concurrent execution
- Substantial development experience using OOP language like JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python
- Substantial experience with automation tools like Playwright / Cypress / Selenium / Puppeteer
- Experience on cloud (AWS / GCP)
Extra great if you have:
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Basic Kubernetes and microservices knowledge
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as report-portal
- Familiarity with git-actions coding
- Orientation to monitoring systems like grafana/newRelic etc.
