This role is for a motivated individual with strong analytical, technical background to join us as Senior BIE. You will be responsible for designing and supporting best-in-class business analytics solutions and help leadership make impactful business decisions. You will own the design, development of analytics & science solutions to support key Topology Planning and Capacity Planning initiatives. You will continue to raise the bar for creating scalable, efficient , automated processes for large-scale data analysis.This position requires excellent statistical, analytical abilities with deep knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Engineering practices and working knowledge of Science-ML/AI/LLM
Key job responsibilities
• Partner extensively with Topology Planning and Capacity Engineering leaders and proactively identify analytical needs, translate them to BIE/Science solution designs
• Design, develop, test solutions to ensure data management processes, visualization outputs are accurately representing the business insights
• Develop best practice to reduce coding effort by reuse where applicable; replace complex data handling steps with innovative design and simpler tools/utilities
• Work backwards from business KPIs used in operational decisions to design predictive science-based automation solutions
• Use AWS S3, Redshift, Athena, Quicksight, Tableau, LLM to produce reliable solutions. Enable seamless integration between BIE solutions and Strategic Planning, Excel models
• Mentor BIEs on the team. Partner with Research Scientists and Data Scientists to identify innovation opportunities and scale solutionsA day in the lifeThey collaborate directly with customers (Sr. Manager, Principal Scientists and Principal PMTs) to translate business issues to technical opportunity statements/requirements with Design concepts.

- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.
- 10+ years of SQL experience
