What you'll do:
- Leading design and development of key Display Ads serving components, to meet strict latency and scalability requirements.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks of serving systems through monitoring, profiling and stress testing, proposing roadmaps for system optimization, and executing against the roadmaps.
- Working with cross-functional partners to deliver production features.
- Staying on top of industry trends, and uplifting engineering teams on best practice, code optimization, caching strategies, and new technologies.
- Navigating through ambiguity and contributing to long-term engineering strategies.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields
- Solid understanding of distributed system architecture and design principles.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, or other modern programing languages, with deep knowledge of memory management and multi-threading.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields.
- 4+ years' experience of leading 20+ engineers.
- Experience with programmatic advertising, e-commerce, or online content distribution.
- Experience with machine learning platforms and applications
- 8+ years’ experience of developing high-performance large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
