Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer documentation, Computer Science course material, or IT administration playbooks).
- 5 years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or equivalent practical experience in a role focused on technical communication (e.g., Product Documentation, Technical Journalism, or Training or Support for technical products or services)
- 5 years of experience in content management/strategy or project management
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of Google’s products and technologies
- Versatile writer with an understanding of networking technology
- Familiarity with UX writing
- Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously, with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
