About this role:
You will be responsible for theof our Apigee Hybrid Application Programming Interface (API) platform. You will work closely with DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and API development teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and operation of Apigee services in a hybrid cloud environment.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or PlatformEngineering roles
2+ years of experience with ApigeeHybrid includinginstallation, configuration, and management
2+ years of experiencewith Terraform, Ansible,and Helm
2+ years of experiencewith Kubernetes andcontainer orchestration
2+ years of experience with ContinuousImprovement/ContinuousDelivery (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
2+ years of experience with API Gateway concepts such as OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices
2+ years of experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
2+ years of experience in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Experiencewith GitOps practicesand tools suchas Flux or ArgoCD
Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio
Apigee certification or relevant cloud certifications such as GCP or Kubernetes

Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
