As a Business Intelligence Engineer you will be conducting large scale data analysis and providing business insights based upon data to further improve our operations and processes. Identifying non-existent data fields to improve existing KPIs would be a key responsibility for this role. Understandings around internal fulfillment center operations will be a plus.Key job responsibilities

- Interface with business customers to gather requirements.
- Model data and metadata to support ad-hoc and pre-built reporting.- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Tune application and query performance using Unix profiling tools and SQL.
- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets

Workforce Optimization

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
