Senior Manager, Product Management (PXDP55)

The Card Core team runs the “nuclear” core processing platform and associated capabilities for the card business. We’re working backward from a vision to radically transform how we work and how we serve our hundreds of millions of customers. This platform is the foundation that the Capital One’s consumer life-cycle is built upon including:

• Product Setup + Account Booking

• Account cycling and billing

• Settlement functions

• Account and Transaction SORs

• Merchant and Fraud Dispute Handling

• Account closure

• And much more

In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

Chicago, IL: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management New York, NY: $210,500 - $240,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
