About the Role

Join the Mexico Uber Eats Commercial team as an! In this role, you will play a key part in driving growth for our Scaled Restaurants portfolio. You’ll leverage strategic analysis, process optimization, and leadership to enhance merchant engagement, loyalty, and success.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and own a roadmap of initiatives to increase engagement, loyalty, and growth for new and mature SMB merchants.
  • Lead churn management as the primary point of contact, overseeing the entire process end-to-end.
  • Analyze churn trends and identify drivers to implement effective strategies, reducing the overall churn rate.
  • Optimize merchant journeys by addressing friction points to improve performance.
  • Define and oversee the lifecycle of newly onboarded merchants, including actions, incentives, processes, and governance.
  • Monitor early-stage accounts, tracking operational performance trends to ensure success.
  • Design scalable solutions to drive growth and maximize the performance of newly acquired SMBs across Mexico.
  • Develop and optimize processes to support SMB operations and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, sales, and Territory teams to support long-term growth.
  • Manage and mentor 2 direct reports.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, tech operations, business consulting, or online food delivery.
  • Proficiency in data-driven problem-solving and strategic thinking, with experience addressing complex analytical challenges.
  • Proven ability to execute in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong commercial business acumen, with familiarity in Mexico's tech, restaurant industry, or SMB sectors.
  • Excellent project implementation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured, organized, and innovative mindset.
  • Experience processing high volumes of data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL or similar programming languages.
  • Background in restaurant engagement and/or growth strategies, particularly with high-volume SMBs in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
