Intel Global Account Manager - Defense Industrial Base

As a successful candidate you must:

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the buying practices of the US Federal Government market, with experience with both Defense and Civilian markets and the contractors delivering to the government.

  • Provide budget cycles, RDTE and Operations and Sustainment programs, along with the understanding of export controls in the DoD and Civ Federal markets.

  • Existing relationships in the industry to quickly grow the pipeline, creating net new opportunity.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence customers at multiple levels and collaborate with diverse, remote teams to build a portfolio of opportunities managed using Sales Force.

  • Lead cross-functional projects, including requirements management, project planning, and risk management.

  • Communicate the value of future CPU and platform families within Intel's Federal and DoD efforts.

  • Drive customer requirements into Intel's roadmap and product planning.

  • Facilitate discussions between Intel design teams and customers to secure design wins.

  • Analyze data to develop winning sales strategies.

  • Partner with business development, capture and proposal team to identify and pursue large scale programs.

  • Develop the Foundry market and recognize a business opportunity.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, business management, or related field.

  • 9+ years of sales or technical sales experience, responsible for sales and revenue to the Federal Government, Systems Integrators, Defense Industrials, or relevant Federal Contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in any of the following:

  • Active US Government Security Clearance, with a minimum of Secret level.

  • Account management and business development activities such as Program/Operations Manager in the defense industrial base, SI Business Development, Federal Contractor sales or BD.

  • International experience with Foreign Military Sales, Foreign Military Finance and Direct Commercial Sales.

  • Microelectronics Foundry processes, Research and Development, and product roadmaps.

  • IT systems, Computer, Cloud and Enterprise Sales to Federal direct and indirect customers.

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
