Role Responsibilities:

  • Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to achieve improved quality, product cost, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Implement knowledge of design, materials/components, fabrication, welding, and paint process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality standards.
  • Research, design, develop and maintain product fixtures and machine tools, processes, and shop layout.
  • Lead sustaining engineering projects such as driving and sustaining Bills of Materials, processing routings and modifications, building and maintaining visual work instructions, help in developing training checklists, etc.
  • Handle projects from concept, design; capital appropriation requests; and qualification within project schedules and budgets

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in a machining/manufacturing environment and CNC machining including trouble shooting, generating new programs, modifying existing programs, developing or helping to develop PM programs etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • SAP software
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and/or similar software, Microsoft Office and ability to interpret technical drawing specifications
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 + years' of validated experience in a machining/manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of problem-solving fundamentals.
  • Knowledgeable on automated processes, robotics, PLC controls and programming
  • Plant network systems experience
  • Knowledge and application of LEAN Manufacturing techniques

  • The pay range for this position is $67,480 - $115,680. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
