Position: Software Engineer III

Develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and eCommerce platforms. Drive projects of high visibility across the organization. Analyze gigabyte and terabytes of data and perform data quality checks to assist in building data pipelines. Analyze attributions and conversions of data to help investigations related to data issues. Analyze and understand various data sets to help with data migration projects. Participate in medium to large-scale, complex, cross-functional software engineering projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug- fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; and ensuring on-time delivery.

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.

Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language. Experience with big data technology and large-scale analytics systems. Experience with data analytics and exploring and identifying data issues. Experience with Cloud Technologies including Azure and GCP. Experience with workflow management systems. Experience building ETL pipelines in a distributed system environment and working with big data concepts and techniques. Experience with data visualization tools. Experience designing and testing Relational Database Management Systems. Experience with CI/CD and unit testing. Experience designing and building APIs. Experience with Spark streaming, Spark batch, and Spark shell. Experience with Unix/Linux. Experience optimizing Hive and SQL queries. Experience with Docker and K8.
