Description
You will be responsible for advising and providing support to the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team on a wide range of issues related to offering consumer products and other services through digital wallets, including transit passes, tickets and keys. Key Responsibilities:1. Deep understanding of laws, regulations and industry standards that apply to services provided by Apple and its partners.2. Serve as a product counsel and advise business and product teams on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to digital wallets.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience
- Significant experience advising on digital wallets and other technology product-related issues as well as negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements for technology transactions
- Knowledge of and familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards applicable to technology transactions
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or proven ability to learn quickly and support new areas of regulation and technology
- Strong work ethic and collaboration skills including with an international team
- Strong intellectual property law and technology transactions background
- Experience advising on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to payments
- Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to lead, take action and provide direction in the face of ambiguity and to get results in diverse, fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and partner at all levels of the organization
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
