As a Sourcing Specialist your role will be to ensure your recruiting partners are best positioned to attract candidates externally at the front end of the recruiting cycle. The primary responsibilities include connecting recruiting with quality hires.

Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing:

  • Manage daily sourcing targets.
  • Utilize various channels such as Job boards, social media, LinkedIn and other professional networks to identify potential candidates. Source, engage and pipeline qualified candidates through a wide variety of channels.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the sourcing process; share feedback and track all engagements and activity on CRM.
  • Educate candidates on the career growth potential, benefits, compensation philosophy and many advantages of employment, selling both the firm and the opportunity.
  • Conduct appropriate compensation expectation conversations with both hiring managers and candidates to ensure closure of offers.
  • Take ownership of the sourcer roles within the Diversity & Inclusion Accountability Matrix; understand diversity goals and where we have opportunities to support efforts in sourcing.
  • Provide meaningful market data in support of client and recruiting needs.
  • Conduct Market research to identify talent pools and Industry trends.
  • Leverage LinkedIn for passive sourcing and networking.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Recruiters & Hiring Managers to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
  • Provide guidance to recruiting on sourcing processes, techniques, controls and policies.
  • Demonstrate expert level of understanding of talent needs by participating in meetings, being aware of changes within the business, acting as a subject matter expert for areas of responsibility as well as managing expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on sourcing progress & market insights to the recruitment team.
  • Participate in recruitment meetings and strategy sessions.

Metrics & Reporting:

  • Track & analyze key sourcing metrics such as time to fill, quality of hire, and sourcing channel effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities & outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing processes based on data and feedback.
  • Utilize the complete functionality of the applicant tracking system and maintain data integrity and controls.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 -7 years of experience in sourcing for IBFC at a fast-paced corporate environment or recruiting agency.
  • Proven experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, preferably in a high volume or specialized industry.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities, strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Experience using recruiting and sourcing platforms is a must. Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques & tools.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Superior multitasking, project management and presentation skills coupled with business acumen.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Boolean searches and advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Familiarity with labor market trends and competitive intelligence.
  • Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter Certification).
