Key job responsibilities
As an L5 Software Development Engineer on our team, you'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation Advertiser Registration and Account Management systems, pushing boundaries in terms of scale, data processing, and real-time propagation. This will involve architecture the data model for the advertising account as well as the advertising accounts registration process. These 2 initiatives will drive the re-architecture of Amazon Ads' entire demand side platform. You'll build Tier-1 services handling millions of requests daily while maintaining millisecond response latencies and meeting strict SLA requirements. Our team uses the latest AWS products and services to solve our problems including but not limited to: ECS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, CDK, Cloud Formation and many more.We understand that solving such complex problems requires a balanced approach to work and life. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
