Duties: Perform business analysis for Global Wealth Management (GWM) technology projects. Provide input during planning and definition phases, including formulation and definition of business scope, objectives, and requirements. Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives. Participate in analysis workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts. Coordinate with the technology team to convert business requirements into functional and technical requirements. Define the manual work process and model automated process to be implemented by the technology team. Evaluate functional requirements for future testing efforts. Evaluate existing systems for process flow. Represent Chief Operating Officer as Product Owner in Agile mode. Define user stories and use cases. Prioritize backlogs to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity. Participate in the development stage and identify, define, and organize the steps required for the next iterations. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation performing business analysis within the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Running SQL queries in Oracle and Hadoop for data validation and testing; Performing Data Modeling Map and Gap analyses to meet data consumption needs; Analyzing Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and resolving data quality issues; Eliminating EUC (End User Computing) by identifying Strategic Data Repository and Approved Data Sources; Providing strategic business solutions and process flows analysis for banking products including loans, deposits, securities, investments, credit cards, and mortgage; and Conducting User Acceptance testing and sign off. 40 hrs./wk.
