The primary purpose of Solution Sales is to lead a sales team that sells selected strategic / new solutions. The primary purpose of the Solution Sales Manager is to lead, drive, manage, coach and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives, as well as consistently attain targeted revenue and profitability goals. You will utilize management skills and training to achieve all sales and quality targets. You will also be the primary escalation point for Solution Sales activities.
As a people manager, you will focus on the success of your direct reports, and of all employees within the larger team. You will identify development opportunities and help team members achieve their goals. You will network with your extended team and share insights with your peer managers. You will seek opportunities to coach and recognize employees and provide real-time feedback.

Experience:

  • Proven extensive experience in direct sales and sales management and territory planning
  • Extensive sales experience with business applications and/or IT solutions.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives.

  • Proven track record of capturing and growing customer and market share.


Soft Skills:

  • Ability to articulate the business value of an investment to potential customers
  • Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)

Professional Training & Certification

  • Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred
