Siemens Wastewater Treatment Operator - Night shift

The role demands comprehensive understanding of ion exchange processes, membrane filtration systems, chemical precipitation, and oxidation-reduction reactions. The operator will perform treatability studies and jar testing while monitoring and optimizing pH adjustment systems, coagulation/flocculation processes, clarification systems, and filter press operations.

7pm- 7am (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with possible Saturday overtime as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a current South Carolina LLR Wastewater Treatment Operator license and in good standing and HAZWOPER 24-hour certification. (A, B, or C License)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial wastewater treatment is necessary
  • Strong knowledge of physical-chemical treatment processes and experience handling hazardous materials and waste streams.
  • Must be proficient in laboratory testing procedures and documentation, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience with metal finishing waste treatment, hazardous waste management
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, experience with SCADA systems, and process control.
