As an Architect, you will develop company-wide standards with the aim of making it even more reliable. These standards will assure high reliability and fault-free service for one of the largest distributed systems in the world.

As an Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Defining and implementing standards for systems design, development, comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices
• Designing, executing, monitoring, improving testing process for a testing engagement.
• Identifying and leading the adoption of best practice tooling, test frameworks and automation
• Having a big picture approach, capable of keeping the end-to-end vision when considering complex distributed systems.
• Providing technical guidance to peers on best practices and the latest technology trends
• Identifying, analyzing systematic, design risks, work with product teams to remediate, mitigate, or eliminate risks

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a good understanding of architectural principles, such as scaling, reliability, performance, security, and their implementations.
• Have programming (e.g,. Perl, Python) skills to help prototype new product ideas and concepts.
• Possess working knowledge of networks and protocols
• Have experience in software development life cycle including in the Unix/Linux environment.
• Design and maintain test automation frameworks, and identify new automation opportunities
• Develop test plans and strategies for software applications. Understand and apply testing methodologies and frameworks
• Have hands-on experience using Selenium, JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr
