What you’ll be doing:

  • Take active part in silicon bringup & characterization of new silicon with the objective of driving product to mass production with first in class performance.

  • Testing NVIDIA Electrical chips and systems.

  • Establish complex lab setups using various high-speed electrical lab equipment (oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, BERT etc.).

  • Defining testing requirements for new products based on electrical specifications.

  • Work with various test and design teams.

  • Leading data-driven discussions about the product functionality and areas for improvement.

  • Maintenance of validation plan. Develop new methodologies to improve the silicon validation process.

  • Driving root-causes analysis efforts of silicon and optics issues through lab experimentation and collaboration with teams within NVIDIA.

  • Supporting Application Engineering to resolve customer issues.

What we need to see:

  • BS degree in EE with emphasis on high-speed communication.

  • 3+ yrs of relevant experience in a high-speed electrical test engineering role.

  • Strong problem solving, debugging, analysis with examples to prove it.

  • Good knowledge of signal integrity and high-speed signal measurement of electro-optical high-speed interfaces.

  • Proficient in the usage of electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, BERTs & spectrum analyzers.

  • Familiar in debugging platform level boards /system.

  • Basic understanding of PCB layout and high-speed board design issues.

  • Experience with industry specification such as IEEE/OIF etc (advantage).

  • Basic scripting skills (Python).
