Tactical responsibilities of role:
Extract, develop and analyzelogistics
weeklyand monthly activities:
A basic understanding of Logistics and Transportation function isrequiredandassistin developinglogisticsplans and procedures, the collection and tabulation of KPI materials from various sources and the creation of detailed presentations
Extract, develop and analyzelogisticsrelated data for optimized service level and financial results, including the presentation of said data to BU staff.
Focus on opportunity management and maximized customer service.
weeklyand monthly activities: Involves all levels of Sony management as well as third-party providers.
Work alongside DHL to troubleshoot any issues related to Otay operations as well as build loads on a weekly basis
in developinglogisticsplans and procedures, the collection and tabulation of KPI materials from various sources and the creation of detailed presentations
Requirements
BA/BS degree or 3 years’ experience in the related areas of operations,logistics, and transportation
A basic understanding of Logistics and Transportation functions isrequired
Strong Excel skillsrequired, along with capability in PowerPoint
possessthe proven ability to conduct business assessment and data analysis toidentifyissues and/or opportunities, and identifyappropriate potentialsolutions
Requires effective communication and presentation skills, excellent inter-personal skills
Preferred Requirements
General understanding of the Accounting and Budgetary process
General knowledge oflogisticssystems (WMS, TMS, SAP) is desired
Spanish language preferred
