Summary:

The Decisioning as a Service team is seeking a strategy Business Manager who will play a critical role in shaping the end-state vision and new use case requirements for Decisioning Platforms as well as identifying opportunities to accelerate the organization’s ability to partner with other teams across Capital One to execute toward that vision. In this role you will partner broadly with leaders across product management, engineering, business analysis, risk management, and other key functions to build consensus and momentum toward our Decisioning destination.

:

• Developing the strategic vision for Decisioning Platforms as we onboard an increasingly diverse set of customer-facing decisions onto our modern infrastructure

• Building a systematic, end-of-end understanding of our Decisioning Platforms and surrounding ecosystems to inform product strategy

• Collaborating with internal business unit users of Decisioning Platforms to understand their strategic priorities and the needs of the customers they serve

• Partnering with Ops, Legal/Compliance, and Risk Management to understand regulatory considerations for potential product investments

• Leveraging storytelling skills to clearly articulate and build buy-in for the Decisioning Platforms vision across senior Capital One executives

• Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving bothshort and long termgoals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment

• Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)

• At least 2 years of experience in analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in analysis

• 2+ years of experience in financial services

• 1+ year of experience in consulting

• 2+ years of experience in people management
