Documentation Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, integration guides, FAQs, and release notes.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, customer success, and marketing teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
Quality Assurance: Review and edit content created by other team members for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Additionally, review and reinvigorate our existing documentation portal, the Academy.
User-Centric Approach: Ensure all documentation is user-friendly, addressing the needs of both technical and non-technical users.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and continuously improve documentation processes and standards.
Requirements:
3+ years in writing user guides, integration guides, API developer guides, in-platform instructions, installation/configuration instructions, and system operations.
3+ years of proven experience in a tech (marketing and/or CDP expertise is preferred) company.
Passionate about delivering the best developer experience through documentation.
Excellent technical understanding of marketing technologies and ecosystems.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, prioritize, communicate, and function in a small team.
Comfortable taking on long-term, complex technical writing projects in a self-directed manner.
Experience/familiarity with a few coding and scripting languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, REST APIs, and other typical office suite applications.
