Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the IP Protection Team & Network teams to gather requirements for monitoring and reporting.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Splunk dashboards and visualizations to provide insights into IP protection activities and Firewall rules.

• Use Python and JavaScript to customize and enhance Splunk applications and dashboards.

• Assist in integrating data sources and configuring Splunk for various IP protection needs.

• Work with senior team members to identify and troubleshoot issues within dashboards or Splunk setups.

• Document dashboard configurations, processes, and best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk features and cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Splunk or other log analysis and SIEM tools (experience with Splunk is a plus).

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting and automation tasks.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with IP protection, cybersecurity concepts, and best practices.

• Experience with Splunk’s SPL (Search Processing Language).

• Understanding of dashboarding and data visualization concepts.

• Experience with APIs and data integration in Splunk.

• Basic knowledge of networking and security protocols.
