Your Role and Responsibilities

• The IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps team is looking for a Performance Engineer to join our Team in Kochi. At AIOps, our primary goal is to process and analyze a vast amount of spans, traces, metrics, and events each second, enabling us to provide actionable APM intelligence to our rapidly expanding customer base. As a Performance Engineer at AIOps, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance and reliability of our products. Your efforts will directly impact the success of our mission and the satisfaction of our customers. At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must have 5-10 years of experience in one or more of the following technology areas: Java, C++, C, Python, SQL, Jmeter, Gattling, Locust
• 5+ years of experience as Performance Engineer role
• Experience with performing system Performance and scalability testing. Being able to drive architecture discussions, performance optimizations and end to end improvements
• Understanding of different testing types, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate performance testing into the development and deployment process.
• Good communication skills and technical leadership qualities

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Deep understanding and hands on experience in performance test and automation frameworks like JMeter, selenium, cypress, codecept, Cucumber framework, Junit, etc. API automation, experience working on CI/CD, version control tools like git
• Experience with Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, OpenShift
• Experience working in cloud service providers like IBM Cloud, AWS, Google, Azure.
