Responsible for maintaining EBEAM demo lab systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging sophisticatedoptical/electro/mechanicalequipment, computer systems, coupled with software solutions. Systems are sophisticated Scanning Electron Microscopes with Sub-Systems Hardware such as Wafer handler, Electron beam columns, Electron detectors, Optical Microscope, EDX unit, Vacuum robots, Vacuum pumps, Vacuum Chambers, RGA, High precision XYZ Stage etc.
Repairs and modifies equipment at KLA facility. Evaluates equipment to determine type and extend of problem. Repairs involve problems which can be performed usingstandard proceduresas well as system level problems which have multiple causes without existing standard procedures to troubleshoot.
Lead, own, and provide solutions for tool issues. Depth of technical understanding requires reporting to relevant other engineering teams, host meetings of multiple teams to discuss the technical issues in detail, acquire POAs with consensus until issues resolved. Be able to complete this in a timely manner.
Generate document content relative to troubleshooting processes, technical findings, provide service and postmortem reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors with +2 years or Masters with 0 years of experience
2+ years of hands-on experience in hardware/software integration, testing and troubleshooting of highly sophisticated semiconductor wafer inspections systems.
Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Mechanical and System software handling is desired.
Ability to work under pressure and stringent timelines since failure of demo lab systems may impact customer engaging projects schedules.
Proven ability to quickly diagnose problems through analysis of inspection reports, system log files, system parametric diagnostic data and other test results, and provide clear and comprehensive solutions.
Proficient with all Windows Office suite applications such as Excel, PowerPoint.
Flexibility of working hours and days, including weekends is a must.
