Job Description
Responsibilities:
Metrics-Driven Organization:
- Spearhead the initiative to cultivate a metrics-driven culture within the SAP Platform IT team.
- Set the vision, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and foster a data-centric mindset among team members.
Delivery Metrics:
- Work closely across the SAP Platform team to establish a thorough delivery metrics framework covering demand intake, requirements, review/approval, development, testing, deployment, and post-delivery defect tracking.
- Ensure that delivery metrics align with broader organizational goals and objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to enhance the end-to-end delivery process and optimize performance.
SAP Platform Reporting
- Lead the identification of dashboard and reporting needs and facilitate design and development of user-centric views of key metrics in a visually intuitive manner.
- Provide regular executive summaries to SAP Platform Leadership and EIT Leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
OKRs:
- Establish a robust OKR framework for the SAP Platform IT team that aligns SAP Platform to EIT Objectives
- Support the definition of, capture, and tracking of objectives and key results
Operational Health:
- Collaborate with the TIO&E team to ensure seamless and efficient incident management.
- Instill a proactive approach to problem-solving by analyzing incident trends, identifying root causes, and proposing/implementing preventive measures. This involves continuous collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to address underlying issues.
- Support the team in assessing the impact of changes to the SAP platform.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement a culture of continuous improvement, through collaboration and knowledge-sharing, utilizing metrics as a foundation for refining and optimizing processes.
- Correlate metrics and data insights to drive determination of SAP Platform process improvement areas for operational and delivery efficiency.
- Identify areas for Global Template business process improvements through ongoing analysis of S/4HANA product roadmap capabilities and feedback mechanisms.
Desired Education Level:
- Bachelor's Degree is desired. Concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of SAP solution and SAP S/4HANA experience required
- 10+ years in implementing and managing ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) practices, including ITIL version 4
- Lean Six Sigma and Black Belt certified
- Demonstrates an executive presence through good communication and professionalism
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Broad-based knowledge of industry leading practices for IT and business process improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior management, clients, peers and team members
- Proven record of excellent performance
- Cross-functional business process experience desired
- Life Sciences Industry experience desired
- Experience working in a collaborative, matrixed environment desired
