Job Responsibilities
- Supporting the NY-based Ratings Advisory team on deals with ability to execute work relating to client interactions and deal executions
- Drafting and refining marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
- Creating and reviewing financial projection models and rating agency models
- Conducting analytic work to move marketing/execution processes forward
- Keeping abreast of key market and rating agency specific developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics
The aforementioned activities may occur in connection with:
- Preparation of pitch materials, live transactions, and debut ratings processes
- Populating responses to an RFP (Request for a Proposal)
- Assisting with compiling research materials and turning comments for internal presentations and memos
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance and/or related major
- Strong financial background
- Beginner knowledge of credit rating agency methodologies and/or credit analysis
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Microsoft Office experience including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required
- Proactivity, self-motivation, team skills and positive attitude
