Job Responsibilities
• Identify, analyze, and rectify discrepancies in financial records, including reconciliations of accounts and adjustments to the general ledger.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to management.
• Design and implement robust accounting controls to prevent future discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate current accounting systems and processes, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaborative environment.
• Work closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and product development, to support financial goals and objectives

• Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.
• Maintains financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards .
• Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use .
• Performs balance sheet and P&L reconciliations .
• Creates and utilizes automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results .
