Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist on the team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-powered decision making. Your main focus will be* Collecting, creating and manipulating large, complex datasets to produce validated simulation inputs
* Designing simulation experiments by considering the optimization targets, variable spaces and computational cost
* Querying simulation outputs, generating metrics, and establishing robust data analysis frameworks to quantify the impact of the solutions
* Creating compelling data visualizations to communicate system performance and identify improvement areas
* Producing reports that suggests tradeoffs and informs decisions
* Staying up to date with the best data tools to automate data workflows

- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science, or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling and communication experience
- 5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience

- PhD in quantitative field such as statistics, data science, computer science
- 2+ years experience with AWS services, such as athena, redshift, glue, lambda, sagemaker, etc
- Experience with Deep Learning
