Description
The tvOS Platform team is responsible for the underlying systems that enable the ATV experience. As a hands-on engineering manager on the team you will own individual features as well as provide overall software architecture direction for the system apps on the tvOS platform.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering management experience
  • 5+ years experience in building complex apps and systems with a focus on multi-threading, memory usage and performance.
  • Excellent programming, software design, problem solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience delivering high quality project assignments on short deadlines
  • Performance optimization of framework-level services
  • Experience in designing and maintaining an API
  • Experience programming using Objective-C, Swift and/or Cocoa is a plus
  • Experience using and understanding UIKit, CoreFoundation, CoreAnimation
  • Love the idea of ownership and delivering amazing products
  • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with macOS and iOS development is a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
