WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our team, Cloud Foundation CNF, focuses on providing Cloud Native Services and Golden Path reuse capabilities for the BTP SaaS Foundation contributing to the BTP Golden Path on Kubernetes. As a Developer Associate within Cloud Foundation CNF, team you will be dealing with the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers to detailed design and implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting. In your role as Developer Associate, you will work closely with colleagues globally with the following activities.

• Work in a SCRUM team with a focus on ERP Products in Cloud technologies.
• Contribute to BTP based reuse services as part of Cloud Foundation.

• Explore open source and use latest SAP Technology stack (Business Technology Platform) to build Cloud Native Services at a fast pace.

• Contribute towards feature roadmap for the topics following SCRUM and Agile, SDOL, CI/CD, GitHub workflow

• Transform detailed designs into implementation.

• Have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Flexible to maintain existing code base, enhance implementation, and develop new code.

• Flexible to work on multiple programming paradigms as per the team’s profile.

• Bring in high energy to work constructively, do self-planning, collaborate within team and interface across engineering teams.

• Have the zeal to implement solutions which help in improving performance and reducing costs.
• Bring innovative ideas and solutions to contribute to the development of ERP Products in Cloud technologies, explore new technologies and methodologies to stay competitive

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development, with exposure to open-source technologies.
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Microservices, Design Patterns, and Data Structures.
• Handson experience with at least one programming language: Java, TypeScript, Node.js or JavaScript.
• Exposure to SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, CDS, CAP, Fiori Elements, and UI5 is a plus.
• Basic understanding of relational databases.
• Exposure to Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a bonus.
• Awareness of SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
• Good communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Basic understanding of cloud services, GIT and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Cloud Foundry, Kafka, ISTIO, ESOA, and SAP BTP is a plus.
