This role will enable proactive risk identification across Markets while ensuring compliance with the firm wide Human Capital Risk Management Policy. Implementing standards and consistent practices across Markets are required to ensure we have the right structure, people and skills at the right time and with the right cost to execute on our commitments.
Reporting line: Paul Rayson (COO for Markets)
Establish and Transform Human Capital Risk Management
- Identify and develop plans to mitigate human capital risks impacting Markets
- Support and facilitate implementation of firmwide frameworks to ensure compliance with firm wide Human Capital Risk Management policy
- Embed controls within Manager Control Assessments (MCA) to support ongoing Transformation
- Monitor emerging and industry trends
Standardize Workforce Management across Markets
- Establish workforce management practices in line with Citi enterprise standards
- Architect forward looking, flexible workforce management strategies that are adaptable across markets
- Implement tooling for data driven insights and analytics
- Ensure alignment with firm and markets wide organizational health principles
- Ownership of Expense Management Forum, Hiring Council and serve as Markets Cost Center Planning Manager to ensure alignment with firm wide standards
Implement Workforce Planning Initiatives
- Lead Accountability, Culture and Talent Transformation team in Markets to meet firm wide objectives focused on Resource Management
- To stand up and maintain oversight over various programs / workstreams to ensure that Markets meets all Transformation requirements
- Demand and capacity planning (work demand identification and conversion to capacity requirements)
- Dual roles and matrix reporting lines to ensure adequacy and no conflicts of interest (reporting lines adequacy and sufficient attention reviews)
- Skills management (skills needs identification and availability assessment and remediation)
Proactive Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management, providing insight on human capital risk strategies
- Forge partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including leadership across business lines, human resources and regulators.
- Represent Markets in all relevant committees and governance forums
- Strong collaborator working across Markets and Citi
Skills
- Proven record in senior leadership role with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of resource planning, financial planning and analytics
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interpret and synthesize complex information and data into actionable insights
- Communication and presentations skills, ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong ability to navigate across the organisation and provide strategic direction
- Strong skill set in influencing and people management
