Essential Responsibilities:

The Senior Reliability Engineer(multiple positions)is responsible fordesigning, writing, testing and delivery software to prevent andresolve quicklyservice disruptions on theposition works with technology services in the banking industry. Primarily, this position does everything possible toincidents from recurring and/or reduce the time it takes to getand effective pro-active monitoring.Specific duties include: (1) design, write, and deliver software/automation to improve the recoverability, availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of products; (2) monitor and recovermultiple applications during incident recovery; (3) provide preventative activities, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and quick resolution of events and incidents to ensure applicationstability; (4) prevent problem recurrence as a strong advocate for production reliability; (5) design, write, and deliver monitors and dashboards that improve predictability and are actionablein a proactive manner; (6) day-to-day operational management, including response, incident, event, and problem management activities; (7) understand different platforms, applications,hardware, and infrastructure and how they interact; (8) enhance knowledge repository that helps reduce recovery times for disruptions in service; (9) provide technical oversight to othersresolving high severity application incidents; (10) oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve problems to ensure application stability; (11) provide thoughtservice restoration to complex mainframe legacy systems in the Hogan arena; (13) develop and implement mainframe Hogan Cobol applications; (14) work on system development lifehigh quality production support to complex mainframe legacy system during incidents, events or problems using HOGAN, CICS, JCLs, Scheduler, TSO, Dump analysis and debugging,from anywhere in. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires adegree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate)experience working with technology services in the banking industry.


Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have60 monthsof experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1)improving the following for computer engineering applications: availability, latency, performance, efficiency, and effective pro-active monitoring; (2) building system improvement plans withefficiency of products; (4) developing and implementing mainframe Hogan Cobol applications; (5) providing prompt and high quality production support to complex mainframe legacysystem during incidents, events or problems using HOGAN, CICS, JCLs, Scheduler, TSO, Dump analysis and debugging, Database (including DB2, VSAM), and Service Now; and (6)from anywhere.
